I am excited and proud to run the Chicago Marathon for Team World Vision, but I need your help.
My goal is to raise $1,310 for clean water.
I’m running with Team World Vision to help provide clean water for communities in Africa.
I am running because I have seen first hand the devestation of not having clean drinking water.
I am running because doing a little is more than doing nothing.
I am running because clean water is not a privilege.
I am running because I believe we all can make a different.
The proceeds that I and other members of Team World Vision raise will go to water projects in Ghana, Kenya, Mali, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Zambia, Uganda and, my beloved Niger, where I was a Peace Corps volunteer. These projects, which are all community driven, not only build water supply units but also fix ones that other organizations built and didn’t take care of years later.
Did you know that just $50 can give one person clean water? You have the power to make a difference. Together we can do something great.
Please consider making a donation as I run the Chicago Marathon to bring clean water to those who should already have it.
Please be apart of my cause. Visit My World Vision Page to donate.
